A tough opening hole. From the tee it is vital to hit the fairway, as there is trouble down the left and right. The second shot requires a short iron to a well bunkered green, with trouble long. From January 2009 there will be Out Of Bounds on the right along the boundary of the practice fairway.

Relatively short hole, with a large green. The green is protected well by bunkers right and long, and to the left there is a large stand of trees. Best place to miss, is short of the green. Beware of players crossing in front of tee en route to 16th tee from 15th green.

A positional hole. The hole runs along the hazard on the left and the right hand side is lined with trees. For long hitters off the tee stay right to avoid fairway bunker. Second shot is ideally 100 m out which avoids a second fairway bunker, leaving players with an easy wedge to a large green. Long hitters may be tempted to have a go in two.

When playing off the back tees it can take a good shot to reach a very small and difficult green. The green is protected by some deep bunkers at the left and rear of green to make for an interesting up and down.

Hole 8
471m Par 5
441m Par 5

1. For long hitters it is a tough tee shot as there are large grass mounds down the left, and trouble right. The second shot is vital as water comes across the fairway. A lay-up is required, which leaves a wedge to a firm raised green. The green slopes both off the back and to the front which requires an accurate approach.

Hole 9
499 Par 5
424m Par 5

1. A good long drive staying right to avoid mounds on the left makes for an easy second shot to a large landing area. This leaves players with an approach to a fairly large green. Just make sure to stay clear of the large trees both left and right about some 40 meters from the green.

Hole 10

Long dog leg left with out of bounds down left hand side, which runs along the train line. Off the tee be aware of the two fairway bunkers on the right. Second shot requires accuracy as the fairway narrows up. Generally left with a short pitch to the green. Better to be short as the river is at back of green

1. Leave driver in the bag. Use 3 wood off the tee as trouble runs all along the left, with out of bounds. Second shot is to a sloping green back to front. Much care is needed on the putting surface. Bunkers left right and back with out of bounds at the back of the green.

Hole 13
369m Par 4
308m Par 4

1. This requires a good drive to a narrow fairway. Big gum tree right comes into play off the tee. Large mounds both left and right, so staying straight is essential. A small sloping green with sharp drop off at rear which requires an accurate second shot to be hit. Bunkers right and left of green, The bail-out is in front of the green, short.

Hole 14
350m Par 4
311 Par 4

The hole is a dog leg right. Off the tee it is crucial to either play safe and left, or try and carry the trees over the dogleg, whilst avoiding the fairway bunker on the left. This is a firm green which has a lot of undulation feeding off to the left.

Hole 15
188m Par 3
153m Par 3

1. A tough long par 3 into the corner of the course. There is a hazard which runs both left and right of the hole. Shots from the tee find it hard to stop on this elevated, sloping green if they land past centre of green. Once on the green care is needed.

Hole 16
375m Par 4
315m Par 4

1. A slight dog leg right with a water hazard in front of the tee and lining the right side of the hole. It is advised to stay left on this hole, as it opens up the green for a long second shot. Beware of trouble long.
# |
Hole 17
357m Par 4
318m Par 4

1. A straight narrow driving hole. The fairway must be hit, or it will require coming out sideways due to the heavy trees which line the fairway left and right. The second shot is to an undulating green protected by two deep bunkers and hazard along the left of the green and behind it. Better to stay under the pin to be left with an uphill putt.
# |
Hole 18
376m Par 4
367m Par 5

1. A long tough finishing hole. For long hitters fairway bunker comes into play off the tee. The second shot is a long one to a well raised green, with severe slope left to right. Approach shots are hard to hold the green, so players must be precise to ensure staying out of the deep bunkers, and to avoid the severe drop off on the right of the green.
