{"id":11766,"date":"2025-06-23T12:36:07","date_gmt":"2025-06-23T02:36:07","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.strathfieldgolf.com.au\/cms\/?p=11766"},"modified":"2025-06-23T16:29:40","modified_gmt":"2025-06-23T06:29:40","slug":"notice-to-members","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.strathfieldgolf.com.au\/cms\/2025\/06\/notice-to-members\/","title":{"rendered":"NOTICE TO MEMBERS"},"content":{"rendered":"<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><b>This is a General Notification<\/b>\u00a0to inform members that three (3) fellow members are in breach of the Strathfield Golf Club By-Laws.\u00a0Grades 1, 2, &amp; 4 offences under the Discipline Framework.<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><b><strong>NOTICE TO MEMBERS<\/strong><\/b><\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><b><strong>Secretary and Disciplinary Sub-Committee Notice<\/strong><\/b><br \/>\n<b><strong>Date: Sunday, 22 June 2025<\/strong><\/b><\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The Secretary and Disciplinary Sub-Committee has formally reviewed the conduct of three (3) members in relation to the following breaches of the Club\u2019s Constitution, Rules, and By-Laws:<\/p>\n<ol style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\n<p><b><strong>Use of Threatening and Abusive Language<\/strong><\/b><\/p>\n<p>Involving threats of physical violence and the use of excessive profanity communicated via SMS, email, and telephone.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p><b><strong>Failure to Repair Bunker Damage<\/strong><\/b><\/p>\n<p>No attempt was made to repair the sand in a bunker following the execution of a stroke.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\n<p><b><strong>Failure to Repair Fairway Turf<\/strong><\/b><\/p>\n<p>No attempt was made to repair turf damage caused by a stroke played from the fairway.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<hr \/>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><b><strong>Resolution \u2013 22 June 2025<\/strong><\/b><\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Following due consideration, the Secretary and Disciplinary Sub-Committee has determined the following outcomes:<\/p>\n<ul style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\n<p>The member identified in item\u00a0<b><strong>1<\/strong><\/b>\u00a0has been\u00a0<b><strong>expelled from the Club<\/strong><\/b>\u00a0and issued a permanent ban.
