Australian Golf Power Rankings November 4

The follow-up to a three-win season is rarely straightforward yet Hannah Green is starting to show again what made her such a dominant player in 2024.

A 20-foot bomb on the first playoff hole from Japanese rookie Miyu Yamashita was all that stood between Green and a seventh LPGA Tour win at the Maybank Championship.

It adds to her top-five finish as defending champion at the BMW Ladies Championship and win as part of Team Australia at the Hanwha LIFEPLUS International Crown.

So much for the slump that had seen the 28-year-old miss five cuts in her previous six starts.

Grace Kim also piggy-backed off the team win to be tied 16th in Malaysia and Travis Smyth was among just a handful of Aussies to play all four rounds at the Link Hong Kong Open.

10. Robyn Choi (7)
Without full status at the start of the 2025 LPGA Tour season, Choi’s eight top-25 finishes have ensured she will start 2026 as a full member. Has two starts left to move up from her current position of 62nd and into the top 60 who will qualify for the CME Group Tour Championship.

9. Min Woo Lee (9)
Top 11 in three of his past four starts across both the DP World Tour and PGA TOUR. Earned maiden PGA TOUR win at the Texas Children’s Houston Open.

8. Nathan Barbieri (10)
Held onto top spot on the Challenger PGA Tour of Australasia Order of Merit with an eighth-place finish at Webex Players Series South Australia. Has an additional three top-four finishes in the season to date ahead of next week’s Ford NSW Open.

7. Elvis Smylie (6)
Enters the first week of the DP World Tour Playoffs 17th on the Race to Dubai rankings and 13th of those trying to secure one of 10 cards on the PGA TOUR in 2026. Has missed his past two cuts after finishing tied second at the FedEx Open de France.

6. Travis Smyth (5)
Run of strong results on the Asian Tour ended with a missed cut at the International Series Philippines. That result came on the back of earning medallist honours at First Stage of PGA TOUR Qualifying School, Second Stage to take place across five sites from December 2-5.

5. Austin Bautista (3)
A three-time winner globally in 2025 including the WA PGA in Kalgoorlie, Bautista is currently fourth on the Sunshine Tour Order of Merit. Top three at season’s end earn status on the DP World Tour for the following year.

4. Hannah Green (New)
In a year in which Australia’s women have led the way, Green has begun to again show the type of form that made her a top-five player in the world in 2024. Made birdie at the 72nd hole to make the playoff at the Maybank Championship only to lose out to a Miyu Yamashita birdie at the first extra hole.

3. Marc Leishman (4)
Followed up a tie for third at the Nexus Advisernet Bowra & O’Dea WA Open with a sixth-place finish at the International Series Philippines on the Asian Tour. The LIV Golf Miami champion made the cut at both the US Open and The Open Championship.

2. Grace Kim (2)
The Amundi Evian Championship winner earned her fourth top-20 finish of the season with a tie for 16th at the Maybank Championship. Played a crucial role in Australia’s victory at the International Crown in Korea.

1. Minjee Lee (1)
The world No.3 led from the front at the International Crown where she didn’t lose a single match. After skipping the Maybank Championship will tee it up at the TOTO Japan Classic this week chasing a 12th career win and ninth top 10 of the year.
