Australian Golf Power Rankings November 11

The Aussie summer is heating up, the DP World Tour has reached its finale and the LPGA Tour is back in the US for the final two events of the season.

Whatever has come before, the next few weeks represent the most important period of the year for so many of our elite golfers both at home and abroad.

His home state Open represents the perfect way for New South Welshman Nathan Barbieri to cement his place at the top of the Challenger PGA Tour of Australasia Order of Merit while Elvis Smylie can wrap up a PGA TOUR card for 2026 with a big finish at the DP World Tour Championship.

Of the eight Aussies playing the penultimate event of the LPGA Tour season, Cassie Porter (60), Robyn Choi (65) and Gabriela Ruffels (72) are all fighting for a spot in the CME Group Tour Championship the following week.

All in all a great time to play well.

10. Kevin Yuan (New)
A tie for sixth at the Moutai Singapore Open continued a strong second half of the season for the Sydneysider. Yuan now sits 15th on the Asian Tour Order of Merit courtesy of seven top-15 finishes from his past 10 starts.

9. Robyn Choi (10)
Has one final chance to force her way into the top 60 on the Race to CME Globe standings and qualify for the season-ending CME Group Tour Championship. Enters The ANNIKA driven by Gainbridge at Pelican 65th in the standings after a year in which she has accumulated eight of her nine career top-25 finishes.

8. Nathan Barbieri (10)
Arrives at the Ford NSW Open on top of the Challenger PGA Tour of Australasia Order of Merit and hunting a breakthrough win on Tour. Has six top-10s in his past 10 starts on Tour dating back  to the Webex Players Series Sydney in February.

7. Travis Smyth (6)
With one eye towards Second Stage of PGA TOUR Qualifying School in early December, made the cut at the Moutai Singapore Open before finishing tied for 59th. Sits 21st on the Asian Tour Order of Merit with five top 10s for the year.

6. Elvis Smylie (7)
Tied 12th entering the final round of the Abu Dhabi HSBC Championship, Smylie shot 72 in Round 4 to drop to a tie for 32nd. That resulted in a drop to 20th on the Order of Merit and needing something special at the season-ending DP World Tour Championship to secure a PGA TOUR card for 2026.

5. Hannah Green (4)
Took the week off after falling short in a playoff at the Maybank Championship in Malaysia. Returns to the United States this week for the penultimate event of the season 38th in the Race to CME Globe standings with five top-10 finishes on the year.

4. Austin Bautista (5)
A tie for 18th at The Hyundai Open on the Sunshine Tour kept Bautista within reach of the top three on the Order of Merit. Returns to the Challenger PGA Tour of Australasia this week where he goes into the Ford NSW Open sixth on the Order of Merit.

3. Marc Leishman (3)
Added another tournament to his Aussie summer schedule with the announcement that we will play the Victorian PGA Championship at Moonah Links alongside eldest son, Harvey. Tied third at the WA Open, Leishman was sixth last start at the International Series Philippines event on the Asian Tour.

2. Grace Kim (2)
Tied 16th last start at the Maybank Championship, the 24-year-old heads into the final two events of the LPGA Tour season a major champion and 30th on the Race to CME Globe standings.

1. Minjee Lee (1)
Last week’s tie for 52nd at the TOTO Japan Classic was Lee’s first finish outside the top 25 since the T-Mobile Match Play in early April. The KPMG Women’s PGA champion also leads the AON Risk Reward Challenge on the LPGA Tour, seeking to win the $1 million bounty for the second time since 2022.
