The Ford NSW Open is heading to the Hunter Valley.
The 2025 NSW Open will take place at the Greg Norman-designed, The Vintage GC from November 13-16 November.
A series of NSW Open Regional Qualifiers will be played in the lead up to the tournament, where players will test their skills on some of the States finest courses. The series of six $50,000 events will attract competitors from across Australasia. In addition to the lucrative purses at each Qualifying Series event, three spots into the NSW Open Golf Championship, per qualifier are also up for grabs.
The NSW Open will be contested over 72 holes of stroke play. 144 players will play 18 holes on each of the first two days, with the leading 60 professionals & ties, plus any amateurs on the same score or better, qualifying to play the final two rounds.
The field shall be broken down as follows:
– The leading 3 players within the Top 15 & ties, from each of the 6 Qualifying Series Tournaments, who are not otherwise exempt. Players who are within Categories 1 -11a of the PGATA exemption categories, at the time of the qualifying series tournament in question, are not eligible for these spots
– 86 professionals ranked in accordance with the 2025/26 PGATA Exemption Categories with the exception of Category 7 & 8
– A maximum of 12 Tournament Invitations
– 8 Pre-Qualifying Positions
– A maximum of 14 Exempt players at the discretion of Golf NSW
– 6 International Amateurs
