Introduction to Switch Physiotherapy

Posted on: 24 February

We’re excited to join Strathfield Golf Club as their exclusive golf physiotherapy partner.

Located inside the Pro Shop, SWITCH Physiotherapy Strathfield is a modern physiotherapy clinic offering professional, movement-focused care for people of all ages and activity levels. With over 10 years as a trusted business in the community, our team takes a no-nonsense approach to treatment, focusing on hands-on therapy and practical movement strategies to help you move better, increase your performance and stay active.

We know golf places unique demands on the body, particularly through the back, shoulders, hips and knees. Our team regularly works with active individuals and understands the importance of getting back on the course. We specialise in managing ongoing aches and pains to support long-term mobility and performance.

If you’re looking to increase your drive distance, improve your swing mechanics, or play pain-free golf, we’re here to help.

What the SWITCH team focuses on:

  • Hands-on therapy
  • Cupping and dry needling
  • Golf movement analysis and performance support
  • Movement-focused stretch and mobility classes
  • Tailored programs built around your body and your goals
  • Practical movement training (functional, engaging, and relevant)

As part of this new partnership, we will be offering all Strathfield Golf Club members an exclusive introductory offer of a FREE Swing Biomechanical Assessment.

What’s a Swing Biomechanical Assessment?

We will analyse:

  • Your body’s movement patterns during the swing (rotation, weight shift, posture)
  • Joint angles and positioning (hips, shoulders, spine, wrists)
  • Muscle activation and sequencing
  • Balance and stability throughout the swing
  • Any physical limitations or mobility restrictions affecting your swing

How it’s done:

  • Swing analysis software
  • Physical screening to assess flexibility, strength and range of motion
  • Comparison of your swing to optimal biomechanical patterns

We look forward to working and supporting you on and off the course, because let’s be honest, some of you need physio more than you need another lesson.
