Nothing ruins a sand shot like someone else’s footprints. Let’s keep bunkers smooth and stress-free with these quick tips:

1. Enter Low & Easy
   Step in at the lowest edge near your ball—no mountain climbing required.
2. Bring the Rake
   Take it in with you. Park it behind you before your shot for easy access.
3. Swing Away
   Hit your shot (and hopefully escape the beach).
4. Rake as You Retreat
   Smooth your footprints and shot area as you back out. Keep strokes straight and sand level.
5. Finish Strong
   Step out, tidy up your exit, and leave the rake inside the bunker, parallel to play—unless your club says otherwise.
