Green Tees Update on Tee Marker Changes at Our Club
Posted on: 29 January

The Match Committee would like to inform all members of an important update regarding tee markers on the course. After careful consideration, the decision has been made to remove the Green Tee Markers that previously appeared on selected holes. In their place, we are transitioning to non‑gender tee markers to provide a more flexible and inclusive playing experience for all members.
Under this new system, men now have the option to play from the Red Markers, while women may choose to play from the White Markers. We understand that members may select their preferred tee for many reasons—whether related to handicap, personal challenge, age, or simply variety in their game. The goal is to give every player the freedom to enjoy golf in the way that best suits them.
Please note that this choice does not apply when participating in the following club competitions:
- Monthly Medals
- Strathfield Cup
- Pinkerton Cup
- Page Cup
- Summer Cup
- Anniversary Cup
- All Club Championship events
Finally, we would like to apologise for not communicating this change sooner, prior to the removal of the Green Markers. We appreciate your understanding and look forward to seeing all members continue to enjoy their golf with this improved flexibility.
