Course Update – Open Wednesday 27/6

Posted on: 22 June

Dear Members,

Below is the latest report from our Project Manager.

The booster assembly he mentions  is required to be connected before the certifier can sign off on the fire system. Rain over the past two weeks has left the site in a very boggy and wet state and we have not been able to work on the last section of the road in front of the clubhouse or get concrete trucks in to finish the pour outside the proshop area which, when done, will give members access from the underground carpark through to the proshop and course.

REPORT FROM PROJECT MANAGER:

The Booster Assembly will be completed by Monday. The water in the trenches prevented any arc welding but they should be finished by Monday night.

  • The Certifier has been booked and will be on-site as soon as the Booster Assembly is complete.
  • The sealing of the LGF Carpark will be done today & Saturday depending on rain. Thus, as per discussion with Jabbcorp, the LGF carpark will not be accessible until Monday/Tuesday
  • Given the access to the basement will not be possible  Monday/Tuesday, members will not be able to play on the course until after that time.

The end result is that we will not be able to open the course until Wednesday next week.

Time spots are still available at Oatlands and Bankstown and we thank these clubs for making their course available to us.

Members wanting times at these clubs will need to phone the respective Pro-shops to book a time.

Mark will open the Proshop all weekend , the half way house will be open from 10am till 3pm on Saturday but closed on Sunday and the office will be open on Saturday from 8.30 am until 11.30 am and closed as usual on Sunday.

Members are reminded that we have extended collection of prizes and redemption of bar levy until July 15.

Once again our apologies to members for the ongoing inconvenience – we are doing the best we can under very difficult circumstances.
