Situated in the heart of the Sydney metropolitan area, Strathfield Golf Club is currently undergoing a major re-development of its golf course and clubhouse. Once complete we will deliver our members and guests one of the best facilities in Sydney.
The major course redevelopment led by Internationally acclaimed course architect James Wilcher from Golf by Design will result in a championship quality Par 70 course, which will provide an enjoyable yet challenging experience for golfers of all abilities.
The course redevelopment includes the building of 14 new greens, 16 new tee boxes, and a completely new course routing. As part of the new course masterplan, the Cooks River has been made a feature of the design, with the river coming into play on 10 holes, while being crossed on 6 occasions.
Now well advanced, the club is maintaining 18 holes each week for members and guests via a number of temporary greens. Eight of the new greens are now in play, with several other greens currently growing in and expected to be in play over the coming weeks.
All course renovations are due to be completed by mid-2018. Images of the course redevelopment can be viewed in the gallery below.
